2024 Walk for Animals - San Diego

Team #ShadeOutDM - Barking Out Loud for the pups that can't
Team #ShadeOutDM - Barking Out Loud for the pups that can't

#ShadeOutDM Foundation

We're joining paws to support the Humane Society as we see pups with Degenerative Myelopathy in the shelters far too often!
It's an absolutely unfair disease that forces some owners to do things they wouldn't normally do simply because this disease is emotionally exhausting as well as financially exhausting and far too often the pawrent feels trapped with no other option!

DM CAN BE PREVENTED!!! If we can raise awareness and STOP BREEDING THE GENES!!!  (for more information about DM - https://shadeoutdm.org)

Will you JOIN US to support #ShadeOutDM Team by wearing your purple & come walk with us??? (Even if you participate virtually, you can help us put #ShadeOutDM on the map even tho 100% of the monies go to the San Diego Humane Society's Walk for Animals!

Please consider supporting our team and the animals by signing up for Team ShadeOutDM even if you are not able to attend locally.

This year, with your support:
  • More than 40,000 homeless pets and wildlife in need will be given safe shelter and a second chance.
  • Thousands of orphaned kittens will receive around-the-clock care through the Kitten and Foster programs.
  • Humane Law Enforcement officers will respond to nearly 19,000 animals in need.
  • More than 2 million pet meals will be distributed to families facing challenging times, helping them keep their beloved animals.
By supporting our team's fundraising efforts, you're helping us achieve our goal and making a life-changing difference for animals and the people who love them. Together, we can create a more humane San Diego!
