Archie joined our family in December 2020 bringing so much love, spirit, joy,  entertainment and exercise - it has been the perfect match!   He learns very quickly and we are so very ecstatic that in only 2 months, Archie has become the ultimate San Diego beach dog!  He enjoys immensely running through and playing in the water with us and all the other dogs on the beach.  We are so lucky to have him in our lives!

Archie and I are so excited to be participating in San Diego Humane Society's Virtual Walk for Animals! We've joined thousands of animal lovers and their furry friends online to help create a more humane San Diego.

As our community faces this challenging time, the animals need us now more than ever. Every day, pets and wildlife are still arriving at San Diego Humane Society in need of safe shelter, lifesaving medical care and a second chance.

This year, nearly 50,000 animals will rely on San Diego Humane Society for help. With your support: 

• More than 30,000 homeless pets will be given safe shelter and a second chance. 
• Project Wildlife will care for more than 12,000 injured or orphaned wild animals.
• Thousands of orphaned kittens will be given a second chance through Kitten and Foster programs. 
• Humane Law Enforcement Officers will respond to more than 20,000 animals in need. 
• More than 1.5 million pet meals will be distributed to pet families in need.
