The Virtual Walk for Animals is one of San Diego Humane Society’s biggest annual fundraisers. The funds raised during this event help us care for nearly 50,000 animals each year!

Traditionally held at Kit Carson Park in Escondido and Liberty Station in San Diego, our annual Walk for Animals is combined into a single virtual event this year. Registration is free and will unlock custom resources to help you fundraise to support San Diego Humane Society’s life-changing work for animals and the people who love them. You’ll have access to:

  • Motivating coaching emails from our fundraising team.
  • A personal Participant Center loaded with email templates and heartwarming animal stories for you to share.
  • Your very own Fundraising Guide filled with tips and tricks.
  • And more!

Every dollar you raise will make a lifesaving difference for animals in need — and when you raise or donate $50 or more, you’ll also receive our 2021 custom Virtual Walk for Animals T-shirt!

In addition to fundraising and engaging with special online content, during Walk Week (April 11-17) you are invited to walk in your own way (with safety and social distancing in mind) — around the block, around the living room, in the backyard, on a patio or even on the treadmill.

Volunteer

Because the Virtual Walk for Animals is online this year, we do not have a current need for volunteers. The best way you can support the Walk is by registering and fundraising for the animals!
