Customize Your Personal Fundraising Page

 

Your Personal Page is your very own web page dedicated to your fundraising efforts for the Walk for Animals. Setting up your Personal Page is easy, and we've already helped you get started all you have to do is add your personal touches!

Customize Your Personal Page URL

  1. From your Participant Center, click on the "Personal Page" tab.
  2. Click the blue "URL settings" link under "edit your personal fundraising page."
  3. In the blank field, type your name or whatever you'd like your URL to be.
  4. Click the "save" button.
  5. You can now share your customized URL in fundraising emails to friends and family.

Customize Your Page Content

  1. From your Participant Center, click on the "Personal Page" tab.
  2. Customize your title, or choose to leave the default title.
  3. Customize the body text - you may want to add a personal story or explain why participating in the Walk for Animals is important to you.
  4. Click the green "save" button.
  5. See how it looks: click the blue "view personal page" link.

Add or Remove Components

  1. From your Participant Center, click on the "Personal Page" tab.
  2. Click on "components" in the gray column on the right.
  3. Check or un-check the components you want to display on your page.
  4. Click the green "save" button.
  5. See how it looks: click the "personal page" tab and click the blue "view personal page" link.

Add a Photo to Your Page

  1. From your Participant Center, click on the "Personal Page" tab.
  2. Click on "photos/video" in the gray column on the right.
  3. Select the button next to the "photo" option.
  4. Click "choose file" and find the photo you want to use on your computer.
  5. Give it a caption if you'd like to - this is optional.
  6. Click the "save/upload" button.
  7. See how it looks: click the "personal page" tab and click the blue "view personal page" link.

Add a Video to Your Page

  1. From your Participant Center, click on the "Personal Page" tab.
  2. Click on "photos/video" in the gray column on the right.
  3. Select the button next to the or "video" option.
  4. Copy the URL of the video you want from YouTube and paste it into the blank field.
  5. Click the "save" button.
  6. See how it looks: click the "personal page" tab and click the blue "view personal page" link.
