In 2017 I fostered my very first dog for the SDHS, Lina was a rescue from the 180 yorkie hoarding that the SDHS stepped up to. 180 dogs in a house, restaurant and escaping in an RV.
To date we have sent some of our pack to the rainbow bridge.
We lost some adorable little yorkies who in their final years of life FINALLY knew what love was. Their lives were short but their buckets were full of love, attention, vet care, and so so much love.
That was all made possible by the rescue efforts of the SDHS.
I have since fostered 3 more dogs, one was a rescue from the Envigo beagle lab testing fiasco, and another 23 kittens.
The SDHS provides all the necessary food, litter and medical attention.
The dogs I fostered were considered "behavior" issues, and in their follow up, I know they are living their very best life.
Your donation to Trey, Starr and my walk this year will continue the SDHS on their mission to care for the lost, abandoned and yet to be loved animals in SD. They also step in and assist with wildlife rehab.
They do so much work, help so many who have no voice.
Please consider a donation this year.
thank you
