Hey everyone,

I'm so excited to be participating in San Diego Humane Society's Day of Giving(aka DOG) for 2022! For those of you that don't know, San Diego County is home, or at least a pit stop along migration paths, to over 50 reptile species, 90 mammal species, and 500 bird species. San Diego is also considered an irreplaceable "biodiversity hotspot" by many scientists around the world, which means we have an astounding number of native plants and animals that aren't found anywhere else on the planet! For this year's Day Of Giving, along with your help, I will be raising funds for Project Wildlife so that we can continue to help our local wildlife in need.

Every year, Project Wildlife admits over 14,000 animals! Not only does Project Wildlife provide life-saving care to our wonderful local critters, we also act as an educational resource for the San Diego community and beyond! We host educational workshops on co-existing with backyard wildlife, invite guest speakers for educational seminars, provide over-the-phone wildlife advice, as well as reach out to the community to help inspire a passion for wildlife through birthday parties and summer camps, and so much more! 

Day of Giving is an annual fundraising movement that unites our entire community to celebrate our shared compassion for animals in need and support the work of San Diego Humane Society. To make the deal even sweeter, every dollar donated by YOU will be matched by some of our extremely generous donors until June 30th, 2022. They will match up to $10,000!

By making a donation to support this important campaign, you'll help provide thousands of animals with the lifesaving care they need, as well as critical services to our community. Together we'll ensure that the 14,000 injured or orphaned wild animals will receive the life-saving care they need through Project Wildlife!
