After years of working various jobs, I finally found a place where I WANT to give my time! After volunteering over 2000 hours, I've seen the incredible work the staff and volunteers at the San Diego Humane Society do, not only for the animals we serve, but also for the people with pets in the community. I'm not good at asking for things, but due to the Pandemic, donations are down and it would hurt to have to turn away people who need help with their animals or cut back on programs directly SAVING animals' lives.

Won't you PLEASE consider donating $5, $10 or $20 to support us? Some facts:

• Nearly 35,000 homeless companion animals have the chance to find new families.
• More than 12,000 wild animals will be cared for by Project Wildlife.
• Our Humane Law Enforcement officers will respond to over 25,000 calls about animals in need. 
• Over 19,000 spay/neuter surgeries will be performed by our veterinarians.
• Approximately 1,500 fragile neonate kittens will find a safe haven in our 24-hour Kitten Nursery.
• Over 5,500 pet families in need receive safety-net services provided by PAWS San Diego, including more than 1.5 million pet meals.
