This year, San Diego Humane Society will save the lives of more than 50,000 animals.
- More than 40,000 homeless animals will find refuge in SDHS’s care.
- The foster program will provide a second chance to more than 3,500 sick, injured or underage animals.
- More than 20,000 animals will receive care in SDHS’s veterinary medical centers.
- Humane Law Enforcement officers will help more than 20,000 animals.
- Project Wildlife will care for 12,000 injured or orphaned wildlife.
- SDHS surgeons will perform 6,000 reduced cost spay/neuter surgeries on community animals.
- The 24-hour-kitten nursery will give safe haven to 3,000 orphaned or newborn community kittens.
