Success on a Leash

“My dog was greeting so nicely, then all of a sudden…!” Why do on-leash interactions go wrong? How do you set up for success and curate respectful interactions? Join us with Juliette Nash, our Behavior and Training team's Community Training Coordinator, for an engaging discussion on what questions to ask before you greet, how to read the body language of the participants, what role dog sociability plays, why on-leash and off-leash interactions are different, how to respect our dogs boundaries and why and when it’s ok and important not to greet.

This talk takes place live on Zoom! You will receive the link in your confirmation.

In the past, our in-person events were $10 to attend. This support has provided important funds for our life-saving programs. If you can, we invite you to pay to attend this informative virtual lecture.
