Practice reading with some great listeners! Children of all ages are invited to read aloud to Animal Ambassadors from San Diego Humane Society at the Logan Heights Library on the second Saturday of each month from 10-11 a.m.
SPECIAL EVENT: December 10
DR. SEUSS ENTERPRISES, THE PETFINDER FOUNDATION, AND SAN DIEGO HUMANE SOCIETY INVITE DOG LOVERS TO CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS BY PARTICIPATING IN GRINCH-THEMED #READTOMAX PROGRAM
Children can practice their reading skills in a fun and non-judgmental atmosphere while giving our ambassador animals the chance to socialize. The focus of the interaction is on reading rather than the animal, which teaches children how to be respectful of an animal’s space and body and provides a safe, positive interaction for the animal.
This Dr. Seuss Grinch-themed #ReadToMax holiday program will feature children reading HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! to Canine Ambassadors.
This event is free to all ages and no reservations are required. Participants in this Dr. Seuss event will receive a copy of HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! to take home while supplies last.
