Registraton for this event is closed.  To schedule a low-cost microchip appointment at one of our campus locations, please visit sdhumane.org/microchipping/

Microchipping is a proven way to successfully recover your pet(s) should they become lost and it is a great way to help your pet find their way home more quickly if you are separated.

A microchip is your pet's permanent ID. A pet microchip—the size of a grain of rice—goes beneath your pet's skin between their shoulder blades. This permanent ID lasts the lifetime of your pet. Animal shelters and veterinary offices use this ID to contact you and reunite you with your pet if they get lost!

Reservations are required to attend this limited-space opportunity. You may use one appointment time slot to register up to two pets.

Please register for the appointment window that you used to register for Santee Fido Day.

In order to obtain a free dog license (for up to one year) at this event, please ensure that you reside within San Diego Humane Society's jurisdiction and bring along proof of your dog's rabies vaccine.

Please email lleonard@sdhumane.org with any questions.
