Interested in learning more about pigeons and doves?  Come join us as we discuss these unique members of the Columbidae bird family at our Wake Up With Wildlife talk this January. You will learn about their specialized anatomy and their typical traits and behaviors. You will also learn which species reside in San Diego and why we need to learn to co-exist with these gentle birds.  One of our wildlife technicians will review statistics of how many of these species come through Project Wildlife’s doors, the most common injuries we see here, the processes we use to rehab them, and some great rehabilitation success stories!
