Free Canine Safety Class
San Diego Humane Society is proud to partner with the City of San Marcos to create a safer community! Join us for a free Canine Safety class on Feb. 3 from 5-6:30 p.m. at San Marcos Community Center (3 Civic Center Drive San Marcos CA, 92069).
Did you know that about 40% of all households have at least one dog? You’re bound to encounter dogs on a regular basis in your neighborhood, so it’s essential to understand how to interact with dogs safely. Most of our everyday interactions with canines are safe, but there are times when humans and dogs just don't understand what each other are saying. This miscommunication can sometimes result in injury. Knowledge and training will help reduce the risk of injury and stress for both humans and animals!
Through San Diego Humane Society's Canine Safety class, you’ll learn how dogs communicate, how to proactively assess your environment and how to stay safe during interactions with dogs. Members of all communities are welcome to join! Space is limited.
